Just checked on them and she is already limping a little less. Of course, they were just waddling around in ther. LOL. Fingers crossed!

What a nice house for them. It may take a few days to a few weeks for her to completely recover but hopefully with rest she will make a full one. They sure are pretty.

The girl is doing even better today! Keeping up with the flock and running to the pond and back with less of a limp. Guess the day of rest helped! We will keep an eye on her and maybe limit their roam time a bit for the next few weeks. Thank you all for the advice and well wishes!

is her foot swollen or hot to touch?

The leg is swollen, not the foot. Haven’t been able to touch it.

Unless you give her more time for resting that leg it probably will take longer than necessary to heal,just like us humans when we sprain our leg ankle or have an injury if we keep using said injury it takes longer. Your seeing just resting one day what happens so maybe try giving her a little longer?

Planning on it. Let them out for just a little while today for some fresh air and a swim
