I've read and been told that Ameraucanas eggs will be blue inside as well, since its the true pigment and not layered. And the EE eggs will be white inside since its pigment layered on top of white shell. All of my EE eggs are blue on the inside. Is this from their Ameraucana egg pigment base? Or is it supposed to be white on the inside. Reason im asking is because its a little hard to tell the difference between my EE eggs and my Ameraucana eggs sometimes, so i was comparing the insides to see if that was easier to distinguish them. They're all blue on the inside, just the EE eggs are a different blue/green shade on the outside as the inside.

The blue egg shell genes are just that, egg shell genes. Breed or mix doesn't matter.
In other words all your birds have the same genes and their eggs will be the same inside.
EE eggs aren't white with blue on them. Eggs are either or. Blue or white. A bird can carry a gene for each but blue is dominate so they will also be blue.
