Introducing Myself - Trevillyan Family Farm

Hello!

I’m new to BYC. I live in Tehachapi CA and have a small family farm with 9 chickens, 4 ducks, 7 goats, 4 dogs, 2 cats, 2 Guinea pigs and 4 humans - 6 if you count my husband and myself
I’m trying to convince my husband to let me get all the farm animals but I have to ease him into it. Donkey and/or horse is next on my wish list, then pigs, and my ultimate wish is a highland cow. I want to also start dabbling in gardening.

My day job that pays for all this farm fun is K-12 teacher but when I win the lottery that I don’t play I’ll quit the day job and just spend all my time with the animals.

I have or have had all the critters on your current list (if you don't count children, that is), as well as donkeys. I have friends who raiser highland cattle, and they are incredible beasts, hope you get that wish granted some day. And, early retirement from the working world with a big lottery win .
