Hey! 
Here's a quick intro to my experience with our feathered friends:
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I don't have any chickens BUT October last year I rescued an abandoned, 1-day-old duckling. 2 months later, I realised that Jessica (the for-said duckling) needed a friend, so, we now have Hazel as well, who has become the BFF of Jessica.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
0 (see above).
(3) What breeds do you have?
Khaki Campbell + Mallard.
(4) What are your favourite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
I find it really cool to show my little besties to friends when they visit; I think that it gives my home a really fun vibe.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Baking, Beading, Making scrunchies.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
My other pets include, Jasmine; a Tortoise shell cat from the SPCA. Misty; a grey kitten (also from the SPCA). And Midnight; my grey goldfish.
(7) How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I found BackYard Chickens when I was looking up information about how to look after a baby duck. I decided to join because I think that this is a great way for Chicken/Duck owners to share information about our feathered friends!
