Is it a rooster?

my husband and I had success (along with some loss and learning) hatching 8 chicks last summer. 3 of the chicks look like roosters. I have no desire to look up a vent to check, so I thought I would post a pic and take a poll. Is this a rooster or a hen?

It's a cockerel since it is a male under the age of one year.

Rooster/cockerel depending on age. But yes you've with out a doubt got a boy there.

I agree with everyone else. Defenitley a cockerel. He’s a very beautiful chicken. What breed is he?
