Is it okay to open incubator on day 22 to check water wells?

Update! Yesterday morning (which was day 23!), one of the eggs hatched, then about 3pm another egg hatched. Those 2 just slid right out of their shells in minutes once they started the unzipping. Yet here was this first pipped egg that was still just sitting there like that since the day before. So I kept putting water down through the vent holes with a straw. I added quite a bit of water after that 2nd chick hatched, then within a few hours the troubled chick finally got out and is just fine. It looks like the last 4 eggs aren't going to hatch, but after really messing up the temperature early on, we're shocked we got any at all. Thanks again for all the responses!
