Is my duck dead inside the egg?

I’m on about day 21 now for my duck eggs, and one of them seemed to have stopped moving. It was basically jiggling around in the egg, floated up, the veins weren’t moving and the fetus was not either. Now, about 24 hours later, it seems the egg is somewhat back to normal but everything seems dismantled when I candle it but the vein is now moving around in the yolk

Sorry about your egg.
Im doing my first incubation and just removed about 15 eggs.

I just hatched quail too and 2/8 hatched, one was rly close to hatching and one of the 2 that hatched started having contusions spun around and died about 5 hours after hatching. But the quail that survived is about 9 days old and is doing great!!

Above the picture of the quail is the duck egg, you can see it has mostly started to float to the top and now it’s starting to smell so I believe it’s dead but I’m going to keep incubating it and hope it works out

I agree I’d toss it before you have it burst in your bator.
