Is she almost at point of lay?

Is Iris here almost at point of lay? It's a little early at 14 weeks but she has really started to turn red in the face and today I caught her checking out the nesting box!

What do you think? I am a first time chicken keeper..what do I know?

It's not unheard of for pullets to lay at that age but it's not the norm.
I have a silver laced Wyandotte @ 14 weeks and she looks like she could lay an egg at any time. The signs are all there!
Keep your eye on her and see if she's squatting and going in and out of the nest box

That looks like a golden sex link. it is very possible mine started laying a lot earlier than I thought.

Maybe, but she doesn't look quite mature enough yet. Here is a pic of ours that just started laying in the last 2 weeks (she is 20 weeks now).
