Both are three months old. I knew the little one was a silver laced Wyandotte roo and has the cutest little crow ever and I am thinking my barred rock is a hen but always afraid I might be wrong.

Well I know the Silver Laced Wyandotte is a roo because he has the cutest little crow ever. The Barred Rock I am hoping is a hen but I have been wrong before so I am am always doubting myself and just need others opinion.

She is definitely a hen.
Barred Plymouth rocks are auto sexing.
She has black lines on the front of her legs.
The barred rock hens carry 2 barring genes.
She is darker and has thicker barring than a barred rock rooster.
Barred rock roosters only have one copy of the barring gene.
