Hello! I was told these were both pullets. But I’m starting to worry the lighter one (on left) is a roo. I don’t have experience with this breed though, so wondering if someone can weigh in.
Thanks as always.

The left one has the hen pattern, the right one looks like a cross breed.

Full body pictures would help ID the birds better.

They are both pullets. There are bearded and non-bearded varieties of booted bantams, and hatchery birds sometimes lack beards. I don't think either is a mixed breed.
One kinda odd thing… one of them definitely is making a crow-ish sound. I hear it come from the room when they want to come out and play. Can some pullets do that?

If one is indeed crowing, perhaps these could be sebright crosses? Sebrights are henfeathered, meaning the roosters do not show typical rooster feather characteristics. They are capable of passing this trait on when crossbred. If someone is actually crowing, this seems more likely.

Purebred D'uccles would be super obvious at this age if it was a roo.

They're not sebright crosses, both look pure bred; the culprit is just either a slow-developing rooster or a faster-developing hen. If it's really crowing it's probably a cockerel (even though it's true some hens can crow, I feel like too many people use this fact to hold out hope when it's unlikely). But regardless, I would give it more time just to be sure!
