Is this a sizzle? Any guesses on gender?

A beautiful partridge sizzle a/k/a satin.

I was under the impression “Satins” and “Sizzles” are different. Isn’t Satin what you have when you get the smooth feathers from a silkie cross? Because they are the very soft smooth feathers and only partially barbed ?

That's my understanding as well. But in this case it looks like a satin frizzle silkie

Sizzles are also known as satins. The one in my avatar is a frizzled satin showgirl. Satins are cochin/silkie crosses. I prefer to call them satins because the term "sizzle" I find is confusing to people especially when there are smooth feathers with no "frizzling" involved.

@cassiadawn - I forgot to guess on gender. I'm leaning towards pullet.

Blue earlobes, but only 4 toes! Also, this seems to be all it has for a comb thus far - I couldn't find anything else under the crest feathers.
