Is this an ear infection?

Just noticed this today...she is a b/w Brahma that is about 2 years old.
I haven't picked her up and looked closely at it so I don't know if it's draining or hard or anything.
She is the only one with this. All other girls are normal looking.

From what I can see, it does look like an ear infection. It could be from a sting/insect bite, pecking injury or illness.
You will need to get a closer look to see what's going on.

Any swelling is usually do to infection, which in chickens is a hard/semi-hard cheese-like substance that will have to be removed.
Vet care would be best, but if it is not available you will need to do this yourself.

We cleaned out her ears about a week ago. The first pic is right before we did her right ear and the second pic is today. Looks pinker rather than red and looks like its drying out and its no longer yellow..hoping eventually her ears go back to normal size.
