Wife bought four golden lace wyandottes at tractor supply and one seems to be lazier than the rest. Seems she can move and walk just fine and is still eating and drinking, but just doesn’t want to move. Is there anything we can do? What’s the best course of action here?

The chick in question is the 2nd pic, first is another to compare leg shape.

How old is the chick? Instead of bow-legged, it might be a leg bone deformity called valgus deformity, and the legs may appear knock kneed. The opposite deformity is varus deformity which gives a bowlegged appearance. It happens in one or both legs. There is no treatment for either one, but chicks can sometimes live with the disability. I’m not an expert, but you can look at some pictures, and if you could post a picture of the chick standing on it’s own, that might help. Here is some reading about it:

That definitely looks like what’s going on here, although she is not a broiler. We bought them when they were just a day or two old from TS.

As long as she can live a happy healthy life she deserves a chance even if she needs some assistance. Right now I’m not so sure. All she does is sit in the corner and doesn’t want to move. But I’ll give it some time before I make a decision.
