That big red comb, and that darker shade of blue on the shoulder/wings. He's still a bit young for the male 'copper' on the shoulders, and for male specific feathering.

Your only pullet is one the left, in the back. The other 2 are have that darker red coming in on the wings, which is a very distinctively male trait. Females will not have red/copper/gold on the wings.

That being said,here is my black copper maran. She has a bunch of copper on her?

This one already has male specific saddle feathers.

That sucks! The black copper maran is my favorite. She is the only one to sit in my hand and is so calm. Bummer. Thanks for all the advice!
