Is this just an over zealous Rooster?

My first flock- all are the same age: 6 mos old. I have 2 buff orp hens, 3 Australorp hens, 3 welsummer hens, 3 barred rock hens, 3 speckled Sussex hens. And 1 Australorp rooster
He’s the boss for sure, and pretty sweet natured so far. And he’s very busy with his girls.

I’ve noticed one of the buff’s has some feathers missing right above the rump. Seems to be about where my roo likes to perch. But wanted to make sure the missing feathers and even what I’m seeing as injuries are from that and not something else. She’s the most docile of my group, maybe just his most used target. **sorry for the descrip here, but that is what I’m thinking and just looking for some advice from more experienced people

It does look like rooster damage - more of a total profile shot would help. If she is his targeted favorite, it may be necessary to get a hen saddle for her.

Thank you - I’ll try to get a total profile shot and include it soon. Do you have a saddle you recommend or are they all pretty good?
