Is this normal ?

mt Sarah’s face is red. I think it’s just a young chicken maturing but wanted to throw some pics at you guys. I did check under her wings and her bottom for lice of bugs or other irritated skin. While she looked at me like I had lost my mind. What do y’all think?

Looks like it's just starting to sexually mature. The face will also get more red in relation to exercise, and heat.

Yay. When I looked it up and saw some pictures I thought oh must be normal. But I’m a worry wart and want to nip something fast if it’s a problem. She’s one of my favorites. She likes to run under the others while they are trying to sleep. And if they are gathered together in piece she run right through the middle.

Thank you. My small flock is growing nicely. The two smallest are the most friendly. One runs into the hands of my son when he calls her. It’s so cute

They are a real joy, aren’t they? Keep spending time with them and handling them so they are used to it. Most of mine will hop in my lap. Just wait until they start squatting for you! Talk about cute!!!
