I have a friend that lives in Ohio for the summer and Florida in the winter. Her house in Ohio is on an island and she would like to get some ducks of her own. Her questions are what breed would be best? She would like if the would fly away for the winter and come back since she is gone during the majority of the winter. Is this even possible?

Mallards, but then there's no guarantee they'd come back to her, they would stick with the flock they flew away with.
