When I put my chicks out in their pen to play a few of them start to stand real tall and chest butt each other. They are about 4/5 weeks old. even some of the bantams do this. It's funny to watch they are so small.

Pullets will act that way too, maybe they are figuring out the pecking order.
Do any of them have redness on their wattles or are the wattles bigger than others?? That would be a way to tell if they are roos. But might be best to wait a few more weeks to know for sure.
Enjoy your chics they are alot of fun to watch, better than TV for sure.

I had a couple chicks that would do this and they turned out to be roos. But after removing the roos, then the pullets had to figure out who was top dog and started doing it too. But not nearly as much.
