Tonight I'm feeding my chicks and I keep hearing a sound that sounds kind of like a turkey. Is that the odd sound that young Roos make? Or is it just a sounds from their feeding fest?
Is this what a rooster sounds like?

Could be the beginning of a young cockerel trying out his vocals. When they first start it is very comical

I have 29 so I kept trying to find who was making that noise. All the others would stop moving and cheeping and look around too. Very cute!
