itchy chicks?

I just got chicks from MPC today all alive eating and drinkig but I have a question is it normal for chicks to scratch themselves a lot ? It might be because they got a little wet from there water dish but I want to make sure there all doin well. I'm a worried first time chicken momma... wish me luck

I'm interested in the answer to this as well. I found that mine do it a bit too, not a ton though. They started it from day 1 - it was cute cause they didnt have enough balance to not fall over

I think they are just instinctually testing out their future adult movements.

Yes that's what mine do to.. I guess I I pushed it a little on acident they don't scratch a lot they just do it sometimes sorry.
