A while back a possum attacked my old blind hen, you all helped me with her. In that same post, I posted some pics of my little dogs eyes that had been badly scratched. His eyes are still healing. Just now he got sprayed in the eyes by a skunk that was eating eggs in the coop! How do I clean his eyes? He was almost blind, now almost well, now this happens! Please tell me what to wash his eyes out with?
Thank you!

No, they are closed weekends.

Ok for the eyes just cool water, or plain saline eye wash , the kind people use for just rinsing their contacts.
The label says saline not like cleaner or disinfectant.

For the body, mix together:
I quart size bottle of regular peroxide
PLUS 1/4 cup baking soda
PLUS 1 TEASPOON of liquid dishwashing liquid like dawn.

Stir to mix well.

Lather then up then let it sit 5 minutes then rinse well.

I’d do it twice.

I’m sure the dogs eyes will be sore so if you have a cone of shame , I’d put that on for the day to let them settle down to prevent him or her from rubbing at them.

I also like to keep this stuff on hand.
It’s actually for spraying up your nose when you’re stuffy.
It’s just a gentle mist of saline. But I found out it works GREAT as an emergency eye wash when I accidentally got sand in my eye. It didn’t sting or hurt a bit!
