Decided to make a thread around my wool and fiber art. I've dyed a few braids and spun a few skeins, but Batts are where it's at, lol.

I'm going to a sale today and tomorrow, but I'll post pictures of what I bring and if I end up buying anything.

Polka dots are hard to do on a carder. Especially because my target audience for the Batts aren't really chicken folk. They know what a chicken is, but that's usually it. They picture a white or brown bird with a big comb and yellow legs.

But everyone knows what a peacock is

Though I suppose I could probably make a base colored batt and add wool neps to it as well for the polka dots.

It's amazing. We're wanting to get one for my grandma since hers is a hand crank one
