Hello All, does anyone out there know if the settings on the Janoel 12 incubator is in Celsius too? I've looked Everywhere to no avail. Thanks!

Greetings and welcome to BYC! So glad you joined us. You could always do a temp conversion from °f to °c as well. Please consider taking a minute to visit the new member's thread and introduce yourself so folks can welcome you properly.

Edit. I gave the link to new members over on BYH, not here.:oops: sorry

There's a wealth of info, knowledge and experience shared in the multitude of threads. Browse around and see what interesting stuff you can find. By all means post away when the desire strikes you, especially if you have questions (provide as much detail/info as possible and pictures truly help)... With all the great folks here, generally someone will respond in no time at all. Please make yourself at home!

Oh, if you haven't done so already, PLEASE put at least your general location in your profile. It could be very important if/when you ask for or offer help or advice. You know, climate issues and such. I recommend at least your state as most folks won't be able to figure out where if you put anything more specific (county, town, street, etc) by itself. Old folks like me :old will never remember & look there first. To add it, mouse hover over Account top right and a drop down will appear. Click on Personal Details and scan down. You'll see the spot for Location. Then go to the bottom and save changes. Thanks! Hope you enjoy the site!

Thank You so much for showing me how to put in my info. Duh! Account should have lite up my mind. I did try clicking on the intro links but never got anywhere with them.
The Janoel 12 incubator I have shows temp in Fº but aren't the humidity levels shown as %?
Thanks again and Oh, I'm a late starter myself. I also added a profile pic but it's of one of my little dogs. It's just that I'm into chickens right now.

Hello ronott1; Man you've been around a long time! Thanks for your input. So when I set my humidity level at say 37, then I'm actually setting it for 98 plus?
What model number do you have? Does it look like the one in the video?

See the °C in the Picture next to the display window? That means it is in Centigrade and not Fahrenheit. You want to set it to 37.5. If it has °F than you would set it to 99.5

Ok then. I got that part right. The humidity IS READ THE SAME WAY, RIGHT? I am having a hard time with this wet bulb and dry bulb stuff. These humidity incubators are wet bulb, yes? Thanks so MUCH and I'm sorry for being such a pain about this. Of course, I want to get it right. My Ameraucana is on her last eggs and I only have received 3 from her this past week.
