She immediately went over to the windowsill and sat down on the edge, staring out at the street below. She decided to wait here for one night which would hopefully give John enough time to decided what he's going to do. It seemed quiet since she left him. Surely she hadn't grown too attached already, had she?

Solviss continued to scarf down his food without taking a sip of his wine. By now most of the table already excused themselves since they finished their meals.

Winter had eaten about half of her pork but drank almost all her wine.

He snapped his finger and immediately more servants brought over some fresh wine and then carefully poured it into her chalice. However, only one did.

She tucked her knees up to her chest as she looked down at the busy town. She rested her head on the cold glass, closing her eyes.
