Kate waited at the top of the slope, her tail tucked neatly over her paws as she watched them with cool, calculating eyes.

A large figure flew overhead.

She looked up briefly, seeing the creatures shadow from the moon.

The large figure landed by Kate, grunting as she landed.

Kate watched it as it decended, the fur along her spine prickling "Who are you?" She half growled.

"No need to be vicious." The figure replied, the light revealing it to be a large gryphon. "I go by Thistles."

 

[HollyBird24]

"Thistles," Kate repeated the name thoughtfully "I remember you. What do you want?"

 

[OwlLover]

"Watching her." Thistles replied. "Listen, she's actually not going to hurt you, she's only going to make it look like she is. She's going to spy on the enemy and gather information." Thistles whispered quietly enough so that Sasha and Gina couldn't hear her.
