A faint whistling sound could be heard again, though much quieter because the sphere blocked out most of the sound. However, it couldn't be seen until it had passed through the sphere, only then did it materialize into a flaming blue ball. The blue ball exploded in a shower of hot blue sparks which burnt through the soldiers fur/feathers and left them with small burn marks peppered across their skin.

Samantha rolled her eyes as she placed her paw to the ground, and a huge hole formed. She and her siblings jumped in and the soldiers followed after them, a tunnel forming as she led the way down the tunnel, protected by being as far underground as they were.

Echo led them down to a large underground cavern. They were 100 feet underground, but with a simple flick of her ears Echo made it hospitable for her allies.
