how many days late has someone had a duck hatch?

I THINK I had one hatch 3 days late this past spring.
How late of a hatcher do you have? Have you candled?

i think my temp was a little low. they all seem to be on same schedule. i candled real quick all are moving on the inside. peeping and tapping. i have 4 pips now. but they are tiny pips.i can only see one with out opening. day 30 started tonight at 7 pm.

As a very rough guide- for every one degree of temp too low- you can expect them to be one day late. But even 28 days is only an average-I have had a hatch that lasted five days from first to last duckling. Being that they are all around the same- sounds like the temp was low- but the fact they have now pipped sounds promising.

i have an LG still air with accurite dig and the one that came with it. digital said 99 which was suppose to be 2 degrees lower than normal.

the one that came with it was 103 which was suppose to be 2 degrees high.

the eggs all seem to be the same though . you can here them tapping with th bator shut. just seems like they aren't getting any where.

If they have pipped dont open the bator, you will shrink wrap them and they wont be able to get out. Sit on your hands and watch, but dont open it up.

i had one duckling with this last hatch that took almost 3 days to hatch from pip. she started on a Monday evening and didnt hatch til Wednesday afternoon.

well i am 13 hrs into day 30 . i only have 5 tiny pips out of 17, i know duckling take along time but how long after 28 days has anyone had a pip and hatch?
