This is Samson. I have had him a while and always thought of him as a Lavender Gold Laced Wyandotte. I have recently heard about a colour called Crele and wondered if I should 're-brand' him?

The son is not crele. Creles are barring over red duckwing and that roo is not a duckwing.

The father is a silkie cross or mix. He has a single comb and a small crest plus his face has a slight darkening due to having the black skin gene from the silkie parent. His feather coloring is simply a very common result of crossing of a black chicken to a colored chicken- he does not have lacing at all. In his case, he also happens to be blue, which is why his body is colored like that. His coloring on wing area is probably due to one parent being silver one being gold.
