Lavender orpington 4wks

I have heard lavender orpington develop more slowly… but are these boys or girls? One has a more yellow face, the other is more lavender. They are four weeks old and not larger than our welsummer chicks we got a day before we got them.

Still a bit early to tell. I thought for the longest time that one of my LOs was a roo, she turned out to be a great layer lol. Try again closer to 8wks :)
 
Do you have an update of your lavender orps? I have a lavender orpington that is 5 weeks old that I'm quite sure is a cockerel. Even though it was in an all pullet bin.

Updated pics- 8 weeks. Unfortunately I’m down to 1 lavender now. But I think it’s a she! Thoughts? Their feathers are very different!

I posted below. I’m thinking yes this is a cockerel. Mine is 8 weeks and doesn’t have the comb and wattle development like this one. I’m down to one chick now :(
