Layer feed? 2 hens...same age...1 laying, the other is not...

I have 2 hens that that were born a day apart....one is a silkie, the other is a light brahma. They are right at 6mnths old, my brahma just started laying a week ago, my silke has not(I understand they are much slower to mature and that she could be closer to a yr old before she starts laying). I'm wondering should I continue to feed grower while providing oyster shell or should I just switch to layer due to their age? Just want them to be healthy and happy and have everything they need
