Laying Hen - What Breed?

Hazel lays tan/brown-ish eggs. I don't know what breed she is. Help?

She can be welsummer if she lays tan/brown eggs

they would be dark brown .. but i have no clue on the breed .. she sure is a pretty girl though

Even if she is a Welsummer, she could throw a light brown egg. I had one that came from a hatchery and she laid a very light egg.

That was my daughter on the last posts. Hazel does lay a nice brown egg (not tan or brown-"ish"). I have thought welsummer too, maybe a mix. She is my favorite hen, friendly and lays every day. I might have some more pics - I'll take a look.

Hello fellow Georgian!!

I have Black sex links (Black Stars) and she looks just like them. Some of mine lay light brown eggs and some lay darker brown, but she looks just like mine.

I vote Welsummer...black sexlinks are usually black with a red chest...
