As you see here, I had quite the harvest this weekend. So obviously I had some canning to do. Yesterday afternoon, I put a few quarts into the canner.(water bath) and I got a phone call with some sad news about a relative which distracted me and I totally forgot about the canner going. So for five hours I never even turned the oven off and the tomatoes were still processing. Will this affect them? If anybody has screwed up as badly as I have and knows please fill me in
