Leg horn. Light colored yolks.

I've noticed my leghorn pullets eat a lot. I had white rocks last year and it seems these
Little leg horns eat more? They are young and new to laying and seem to be producing
About a egg a bird. Yolks don't have much color.
Do some chickens just have a lighter yolk?
I'm feeding the same layer crumbles I fed the rocks. (Kalmbach)
I 1/4rd a head of red cabbage and have been feeding them evening treat in the run.

Maybe after these leg horns get adjusted to laying colors will be richer?
 
Feeding corn or greens can help to darken the yolks. Color seems to be dictated by diet and additives to the diet.
