This is my beautiful Josie!! Sometime her comb turn purple like this and other times it’s completely red and looks fine!! The whole flock was just treated for worms and mites! We are coming to the end of our egg withdrawal period! She’s eating fine, drinking, laying, running around all day being her normal self! Any ideas why this is happening? I jsut worry about them constantly!

Sometimes hormones can do that, if they get excited or upset or stressed it can happen. All of those are normal. If a bird is acting sick or off and it happens and stays that way it can indicate not enough oxygen in the blood which could be a heart problem. Since she's acting normally and it comes and goes, it's likely not anything to worry about.
