Lesion on Chicken Cere, Isolated

Hey all,

Been about a week+ now and it continues to grow. None of my other chickens have any sores or lesions. I have Blukote on the way, should be here tomorrow, but I wanted insight on what this could be. Thanks all!

It looks like a common injury from a sharp feeder or wire fencing where she has stuck her beak into. It should heal eventually. Betadine or another disinfectant could be used.

Ok cool, thanks! Interesting, because none of the other girls have this going on! I imagine it's from the welded wire run and she's trying to peck at something on the outside.
