Where are you located? Sadly, there are bouts of Avian Flu going around in the US. Do you have a vet or university extension that could test her poop?

I’m in New York. I don’t have a vet or university extension. She is doing better today, but still cannot fully walk. Now she can at least kind of walk and shuffle, but one leg is still a little weird. She eats and drinks. We assume it is vitamin deficiency. Is avian flu common in NY?

If she has been bullied, she may have a skin tear somewhere and an infection. My second thought is cocci. Yes even at her age. So IMO I would get her some Corid, and some Tylan or antibiotic. I don't thiink it's Mareks (IMO) because with lameness and not eating from Marek's, they do still look happy (sheesh), not sick. You have her separated, and I usually give them mush made from chicken feed and warm water. Keep it mushy, not too firm. Or look for Casportpony, the tube feeding queen, and chat to her about tubing her some food, and some medication.

Whatever happened here? This is my hen now. She has had this poop forever and labored breathing. She’s dying and I’m so upset.
