Lice and mites!

Hello my chickens have lice and mites not sure which exact one but im canadian so lots of sites dont want to ship to me so elector psp has been super hard to find for me i have a little store that has all sorts of things for animals but they dont have elector psp i know they have pour on ivermectin for cattle i was going to try it as im scared to inject my chickens with a needle. But im not to sure if the ivermectin pour on will work! Is there any advice anyone can give me either on injecting it or pouring it on also what about the coop?

most people here recommend using a permethrin dust for lice and mites I think someone will reply about that soon

in the meantime I just wanted to say dont inject ivermectin

the injectable kind some people use it orally (on chickens)

the pour-on kind can be used topically

but I only use the goat drench kind and I use that topically

"chicken chick" has a page about treating worms and she includes instructions for dosages of the different kinds of ivermection (to treat worms, but it also treats lice/mites)
