limping duck

Hi My call drake has been limping today and holding up his right leg, i've had a good look at it and I cant see anything visible wrong, any ideas what it could be?

honestly it could probably be any number of things.
Check the webbing? His toes? Scaly legs? Mites?

I have no idea, just thoughts. but here's a "bump" to get you back to the experts

ive checked both legs today as he is holding his foot up most of the time and swimming using just one leg, there is heat coming from the joint in his leg, should I take him to the vet tomorrow or is this something I can treat at home?
