Think I will sit and see who lays eggs, probably the easiest way to find out.

The boys will start letting you know with their crowing before the girls start laying eggs - my boys usually start at 4 weeks old. Before that their voices deepen too - they start to make a deeper "rib rib" sort of noise. The girls voices stay higher, though they can yell pretty loud if calling for a friend they've been separated from. It's a much higher pitch than the boys noise though. Hopefully you've got lots of girls there.

I been watching videos on vent sexing, so im going to try a couple today, and see how that,goes. Going to wait till I see them poo first, not really wanting to get poo on lol.

This is my beautiful little quail!! I'm pretty sure it's female as I have another and that one makes a weird crowing noise and this one doesn't. Also this one is super tame and the other is tame but still likes its own space. Love quail lovely little characters
