That's a lotta chicks. Think you are gonna need a bigger brooder - like now. They are adorable - but really it's best to wait a few weeks in trying to figure out breeds and gender. At this stage a lot of breeds start out yellow or chipmunk markings so you need them to age a little till gender clues pop up.

I have two big wooden brooders and four smaller ones. They've got plenty of space now that I've got everyone set up. :)

That first day was nuts, I got double what I expected since some shipped early!
