Looking for a broody hen

Does anyone in or near central florida have a broody hen to sell? I would like to breed but non of my hens are broody.

Silkies are your best bet.

Does anyone in or near central florida have a broody hen to sell? I would like to breed but non of my hens are broody.

It usually does not work well to move hens while broody as that is part of process used to break them of the condition. Silkies have reputation for being broody as do some other breeds you can get locally.

Are you going to have hens hatch their own eggs or those from other hens in the flock?

UPDATE: We have a silkie that has been laying and just got broody. We borrowed a friends rooster so she has been sitting on some eggs and is 4 days in!
