Lost a Chick Tonight 😭

I have been gently handling our 10 day old chicks and this morning, everyone was fine. When I got home from running errands, I found one of our 2 Blue Laced Red Wyandottes passed away in the brooder. It was completely fine this morning!! I didn't see any signs of injury.

I'm attaching a picture of the chick and our brooder.. any ideas or suggestions are welcome!!

I'm so sorry! It's always rough to lose a chick. Was it near the waterer? Maybe it drowned, or inhaled water and died later?

I found it kinda near where that first Silver Sebright chick is in the photo (second one behind the Golden Sebright).. so close to the waterer-ish?
