I used a digital thermometer i got off ebay.From china of course,and used this with my first hatch.Over 52 % success.
So i decided to build a more permanant bator with a plastic insulated cooler.I bought a bi metal thermostat and was thinking about thermometers after reading some paranoid messages here.So i tested the digital meter against a pool thermometer and my house thermostat(digital) My china special was off by two degrees to high.
So my dads saying applied.Its better to be dumb and lucky than smart and unlucky.
