Do they seem aggressive with each other?

Not really aggressive at all

They just all pile into that one nest and accidentally break any eggs I try to give.


Started with one of the black ones, can’t seem to get a couple of them off the nest.
I’ve separated them into different cages for a couple of days etc.

Is there a breed standard for the hens? Right now I’m hatching whatever I can get, but ultimately I only want to breed high quality birds.

Any guesses what color these will grow into? My other chicks are mostly black, but these two are different.

The stripes are a red/brown. They look black in the pic

I had 2 Bruges fighter chicks with the chipmunk stripes. I had not seen any liege that color yet, I will take some pictures of my Bruges now that they are getting bigger.

Anyone have any chicks/mature birds that were this color?

Where did you get them Dn?

The chipmunk came from my two. The other from someone on eBay. My hen is all black. Roo is standard black/rust color.

The one from eBay is 8 or 9 days and can fly already. Hatched big, growing fast. I have his brother/sister- all black, growing just as quick, but can’t fly yet.

An update. Still trying to predict colors. I have mostly black/penguin, and 2 chipmunk, then I have one that started yellow but looks to be getting some red and gray, and one that is silver- black with a red head developing. The light in my garage sucks, so they have been hard to photograph
