Lump on hens butt

My lavender orpington hen has a strange lump on her butt. Anyone know what it could be?

I have not got a chance to feel it yet but it has been there for at least a couple weeks. I think she is laying but I'm not positive.

How old is she? It could be a hernia, or an enlarged lower abdomen from internal laying, ascites, or cancer? It looks like it has been pecked and injured by the chickens. I would separate her for her protection inside a dog crate with food and water. Apply some Neosporin or Betadine to her peck wounds. It wound be good to find out if she has been laying eggs recently.

She is around 2 years old. That is what I originally thought it was a tumor or something but I don't know. I will try to seperate her tomorrow.
