Just welcomed 20 lavendar orps and 9 silver penciled wyandottes into it. Got it done just in the nick of time. I wanted it to be lightweight for its size (4x8'), there is minimal plywood. Just the sides are 3/4" ply. The front and back "windows" can be closed off by sliding super thin <3/8" ply into slots I created. The floor is the same thin ply (waterproofed) that can slide out in two 4x4' sections for easy cleaning. The entire front door swings down, and there are two unscreened access doors on the side.

My wife made the mamma heating pads (2) and there is a reptile lamp in there with a 100 watt ceramic bulb (non light-emitting). There are a few things I would have done differently but overall pleased with it.
