I had been searching for some time to find proper containers. These will work for me I think. It doesn't say, but, they appear to be about 6 quarts in size. They may be a bit top heavy so I plan to secure them to the side with a small bungee cord on the inside. I may consider modifying my cages so these can go on the outside freeing up even more cage space.

I've done that for sure. Most hole saws aren't sharp enough to do a clean job on hard plastic so then it's a chore not to overheat and fuse your saw.
Have you tried running the drill in forward long enough to get the mandrel drill bit through and then reversing when the hole saw makes contact with the plastic? That often helps keep the plastic from splitting and the saw from getting clogged.
