Male quails fighting when kept together?

I want to build a 10ft x 10ft aviary and only keep the coturnix hens. If I have 40 males and 40 females would it be okay to put a wood divider in the middle of the enclosure to separate them for the 3 weeks it takes to finish the males for processing? My concern is with the males fighting each other because they are all together and/or because they're near females.

I think so. I aim for 1 sq ft per bird after separating mine for slaughter. They seem to do fine.

Some people keep there quail in a wire shoe box, 10×10 seems more than enough for 40 left.
