Hello,
I have a sweet little Maran Pullet about 9-10 weeks old that I bought from a private individual who had a small chicken farm. I bought two at the time, same age, and after two weeks one of them, seemingly not growing and not thriving but otherwise normal, died one morning. The other pullet developed diarrhea, poor appetite, kind of a funny smell and a swollen eye. After a day of searching posts on the subject of sickness and eye infections, I thought it was coryzia and bought Tylan 50 injectable and gave approximately .45 cc orally to the chick twice daily and she seemed to perk up after 5 days. I ended up giving her a total of 6 days at that dose then stopped as we had to go out of town for a week so. Our house sitter took care of her and updated me with reports daily during this time. Her eye gradually seemed to swell back up, but she is normal otherwise; no diarrhea, has a great appetite, growing, very social, snuggles up to her surrogate mother (a black feather duster I put in her cage that looks just like her) and seems to be thriving. The big problem is that her eye is swollen again; I don't see that it is draining or red, but it is really swollen and she is starting to have that funny smell again. Has anyone had any experience with this? If her eye stays the way it is, I'm afraid she won't be able to fit in with the rest of the chickens when it gets warm enough. More than that, I am afraid she may be infectious so I'm keeping her away from the other chickens until I know what to do. Should I put her back on the Tylan 50 at a higher dose, and longer?

She will be infectious and will be a carrier for life of whatever respiratory disease she has, whether coryza or MG. Coryza responds better to sulfa antibiotics such as bactrim or SMZ TMP, sulfadimethoxine, Albon, many of which require a prescription. Coryza comes back whenever they are stressed, and is never completely cured. It usually has a bad odor. Here is an online source for sulfa:

My thought is that it was coryza before and has returned. I could be wrong. If you did not follow a full course of antibiotics, there may be a resistance to the Tylan 50 now. You may also want to attempt to squeeze the pus out of her eye. I don’t have a video of that handy, but I believe it involves pressing g on the roof of her moth as well as her face. I would research it thoroughly before you attempt. @casportpony is my go-to for dosing, so she can probably advise as to whether the Tylan 50 course was adequate and may have advice for an alternate antibiotic to try. There are several others to tag, but since you just posted, I think some will chime in soon. Good luck!

Sometimes Tylan is used in combination with sulfa drugs for treatment. You might want to get some testing to determine for sure what you are dealing with. Here are some articles that deal with coryza:

Any ideas where you could get a chicken tested for this? Truth be told, I'm not sure I would be justified in paying $150 to have a pullet tested only to find out that it is something that the chick would pass on to the rest of the flock.

It's hard to tell, the swelling around the eye, is it hard or do you think there is hardened pus under the skin?
You can try flushing the eye daily, then applying Terramycin eye ointment into the eye to see if that helps.

Is her crop emptying completely overnight?

It would be good to have testing if possible. Your state lab has 2 locations - Logan UT and Spanish Fork. They have info on their website about testing, fees and submissions. You could also give them a call, a lot of people find their labs to be helpful over the phone too.

Alternatively, there are independent labs that perform tests, here's a link to one of them: http://www.zoologix.com/

Glad that you got the pus out and that she is doing much better. Pus in swollen eyes can be from anything from mycoplasma to E.coli or other barnyard bacteria. Hopefully the probablem does not come back.
