Marans crowing at 4 weeks

I have 11 chicks I hatched about a month ago, but at least one of them started crowing last week. I have marans and olive eggers, and I suspect about 5 are roosters. However, I was surprised at how early the crowing started and I wanted to know if that’s typical of marans? If they mature faster at about how old will I know the pullers from the cockerels for sure?

You should be able to tell roosters as young as 5 weeks because they start to develop pink/red combs. Posting some pictures would help people to help you.

I find the fastest maturing roosters are often troublemakers. I generally remove those as they often start harassing pullets pretty young.
